I love Halloween,

When I was a kid I use to spend the few weeks before Halloween looking for the perfect costume. I would put sometime a special request to my mom so she could help me by sewing my ideas together.

To get into the spirit of Halloween, I did this special treat box for the before and after school boys I am looking after.  I got this inspiration from a fellow consultant Sharon aka the Oki Stamp Queen.

Here is my project:  A "Scary treat box".  I had a lot of fun doing it as it was really easy with the Close to My Heart Artist and Artbooking Cricut cartridges.

If you want I can send you a kit for $6 + shipping or you can pick up if you live in Calgary.
The kit will have all pre-cut pieces and instruction (adhesive not include)

Here is what you need to complete this project

 All products are Close to My Heart execpt when marked by a *

Here are the pieces that need to be cut with Cricut

Every week I will be posting a new technique to show you how to use your products.

This week is about using background stamp.  I love how easy it is to use the Close To My Heart stamp as you can see exactly where to stamp.  Watch this little video from Close To My Heart  and see what I mean and do not forget to come back next  week for an other technique.

Welcome to Artbooking

Hello crafters,

I am just back from the Close To My Heart Convention.  What a thrill!  Along with playing with some of the new products, receiving our new Idea Book and Close To My Heart has done it again and has release another fabulous Cricut Cartridge called Artbooing!

That makes three CTMH Cricut Cartridges,
each unique and different from the rest.
I use mine all the time, and love creating great projects with each.

Before I tell you about it, please note that this cartridge is not available to the general public until August 1.  There are 3 ways to get this cartridge (and one will get it to you before August 1!):
  1. Sign up to be a Close To My Heart Consultant right away and then you'll be able to order this in July, and at the 22% minimum discount (that makes this $99 cartridge no more than $77.22 before shipping and handling) that  Consultants get. Find out how to sign up for only $49.
  2. Pre-order this cartridge from me now for $99 (plus shipping and tax). I will ship it to you on August 1.  Just email or call me to pre-order
  3. Order from me after August 1.
Anyone who takes advantage of #2 between now (July 7)  and July 31 will go in a drawing for a FREE paper pack  from the New Idea Book that debuts August 1.  I will be announcing the winner on August 1.

Artbooking is a revolutionary new cartridge that takes all of the guess work out of scrapbooking for you!  There are still the hard to believe 700 images in this cartridge this time, just like the other two, but this is a cartridge with a twist.  I am pretty excited about it!  It will help you take your scrapbooking to never-before-seen levels!

Artbooking comes with 700 different cuts:
* 30 Themed DOUBLE  Page Layouts (total of 60 layouts) all size coordinated
* 10 Themed Mini Albums (8x8, 6x6, 5x7) with minimum 8 pages each
* Full page and partial page overlays (square and rectangles of each overlay) which can also be used a stencils for inking or misting
* Many phrases
* Themed accessory images
* Themed and decorated photo mats
* Font
* And so much more

With all these images,  you can create several coordinating pages for each theme using just two keys and one dial size.  For instance, if you are creating a 12”x12” page, just set your size at 11” and it will cut  every single page piece to size for a 12”x12” page. No more guessing on title size, accent size, etc.!  Images include accents, borders, titles, overlays, photo mates ( in standard photo sizes) and more!  Check out the layout below that was beautifully made with this cartridge.  In addition to the new font and page designs, this cartridge.  In addition to the new font and page designs, this cartridge also includes 10 themed mini-books, also optimized for several different sizes using just to keys and one dial size!  Celebrate birthday, new baby, vacations, friends, sports, Halloween, Christmas and more.

The collection comes with the cartridge, an instructional book as well as pages of each key's images, 3 sets of coordinating stamps and 3 coordinating sheets of chipboard shapes.  All of this for only $99.
